Agreement

By using FranklinOS ("the Service"), you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

Description of Service

FranklinOS is a personal intelligence system that provides AI-powered chat, journaling, task management, scheduling, and other personal productivity features. The Service is provided as a private family application.

Accounts

• Accounts are created through the onboarding process or by an administrator
• You are responsible for keeping your PIN secure
• Children's accounts are managed by their parent or guardian
• Each account has a unique access code — do not share it publicly

Acceptable Use

You agree to use the Service responsibly. You may not:

• Attempt to access another person's account or data
• Use the AI chat to generate harmful, illegal, or inappropriate content
• Attempt to manipulate or exploit the AI system
• Share your access URL publicly

AI-Generated Content

The AI chat feature uses Anthropic's Claude to generate responses. AI responses are informational and conversational — they are not professional advice (medical, legal, financial, etc.). The AI may occasionally produce inaccurate information.

Your Content

You retain ownership of all content you create (journal entries, stories, todos, etc.). By using the Service, you grant FranklinOS the right to store and process your content to provide the Service.

Availability

The Service is provided "as is" without guarantees of uptime or availability. We make reasonable efforts to keep the Service running but it may experience downtime for maintenance or technical issues.

Limitation of Liability

FranklinOS is provided for personal use. To the maximum extent permitted by law, FranklinOS shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the Service.

Termination

The administrator may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms. You may request deletion of your account at any time.

Changes

These terms may be updated as the Service evolves. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
